C38 - Needle Galaxy
Caldwell 38 (NGC 4565) also known as the Needle Galaxy is a spiral galaxy located within the constellation Coma Berenices.
C38 is best viewed during Spring, is magnitude 9.6*, and can be viewed with large binoculars. It is 16 x 3' in size. For reference, the full moon is 30' (arc minutes) in size.
