Astronomy can be a complicated hobby and there is a bewildering array of telescopes, mounts, drive systems, cameras, and other equipment to choose from. Astronomy is also a unique hobby in that everyone in the world has access to it by simply looking up at the night sky. You can look at simple star chart and use your eyes, use a decent pair of binoculars, buy an inexpensive beginner scope, or level up and splurge on a setup that cost many thousands of dollars (easy to do with astrophotography).
