Valle de Oro National Wildlife Reserve
Valle de Oro National Wildlife Reserve is a recognized dark sky location in New Mexico for stargazing and astronomy activities.
It is designated by DarkSky International (IDS) as a Urban Night Sky Place, which are towns and communities recognized for putting guidelines and regulations in place to reduce/alter urban street lighting in order to maximize the dark sky experience.
