Milky Way Satellite Galaxies
There at least 60 satellite dwarf galaxies that orbit the Milky Way Galaxy, but this number will probably double with large new telescopes coming online in the next few years. The Large Magellanic Cloud and the Small Magellanic Cloud can be seen with the naked eye in the Southern Hemisphere.
