Planet Neptune has 14 moons. Triton, the largest moon, is a captured dwarf planet that is larger than Pluto. Triton at magnitude 13.4 can be viewed in a medium-to-large telescope.

Neptune's ring shepherd moons include Despina (Le Verrier Ring) and Galatea (Adams Ring).

Orbital groups
